Rich Kieling, LCSW, CSAT, CP

Rich is an established psychotherapist who holds the following degrees and credentials:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT)
  • Certified Psychodramatist (CP)

In addition, Rich has advanced training in EMDR, which he has been using successfully with his clients for over fifteen years. He is fully trained in both Gestalt Therapy and in Psychodrama, and has over twenty-five years experience as a clinician, providing ongoing individual, couples and group therapy. He combines his psychodynamic approach with other therapeutic modalities to treat a diverse clientele, including those dealing with compulsive behaviors, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, and early trauma. His approach is creative, interactive and tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

Rich has facilitated Life Enrichment Workshops at the Caron Foundation and, as a consultant to Cicatelli Associates, developed a sex addiction educational and training course for health care professionals. Prior to establishing his private practice, Rich was Director of Adult Outpatient Services at Daytop Village in Hartsdale, NY.

Syd Hap-Kieling, MA

Creative Arts Director, Center for Personal Growth & Creativity

 

Syd Hap is a doll sculptor and mixed media artist. She holds a Masters degree in art therapy from NYU and has completed several years of post-graduate training in psychodrama. For over thirty years she has led workshops and classes for children and adults, helping them to explore and express their natural creativity and imagination. Syd also brings the healing and transformative powers of art making to those facing specific life challenges, including persons dealing with grief and loss, and those recovering from trauma, chemical dependency and other compulsive behaviors.

Syd directed the art therapy program at Samaritan Village Veterans Treatment Center in NYC for ten years, and facilitated Life Enrichment Workshops at the Caron Foundation. She currently conducts art therapy groups at Freedom Institute, and is a consultant to the Sexual Addiction Treatment and Training Institute. Dr. Andrew Weil, best-selling author and leading practitioner of Integrative Medicine, has cited her work in his publications and social media.

Syd’s broad clinical experience, along with her comprehensive skills as a creative artist, blend together to form her unique treatment approach. She produces a rich and safe environment for deep emotional exploration that helps her clients in treatment to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. She also offers workshops to the general public for those who wish to explore and expand their emotional or creative repertoire.
